The trembling boughs of the trees
Makes me placid and cool like seas
Love penetrating like draught through my knees
Bathing my soul with the most delicate sensation
Stemming from the hum of the bees
A serene sky, verdant fields filled me with ecstasy
I lie on flowers of spring bloomed in the hedges
Where some summer flowers were already in bud
Inanimate nature bestowed on me the first spirit of gaiety
I called forth the better feelings of my heart
It taught me to love the aspect of nature, And the cheerful face of the Almighty..
