Packed Truth
There was once upon a time
When the Word was black and white
With ease sees the glow of light
One can say what’s wrong or right
Heart held morals firmly tight
Words to die for in a fight
And Truth was packed pure on sight
Now comes upon us a time
Word no longer black and white
From a prism glows the light
Shades and hues of wrong and right
Which one to hold firmly tight
Words can betray in a fight
And Truth was packed out of sight
Confusion reigns upon time
Word went beyond black and white
One now seeks the glow of light
Distinguish what’s wrong or right
Morals to hold firmly tight
Words to stand for in a fight
Truth be packed clearly in sight
Yet which is Truth, which is not
Mystery tied in a knot
Has my journey been for naught?
