Lola~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Lola

How I miss the days you were here
When my silent cries you did hear
How your hands caressed my hair
A paper fan to cool the night air

How I miss you here by my side
When you always took my side
Protected me from world outside
You were my shield and guide

How I miss your patient smile
When my tantrums were heard a mile
You allowed me to rage a while
Comforted me in your sweet style

How I miss you on Mother’s days
You’ve been a mom in many ways
Your memory in my mind plays
In my heart your love stays
