Coffee for two.

A coffee with a friend
May keep you off
Going to bed
So they start to talk
Openly and freely
Heart to heart
So softly and slowly
Heading unexpectedly
To a happy end.
The place was quiet
And so were the lights
The coffee was hot
The music was soft
And Cupid was ready
Targeting
The two lonely hearts
So
With his gentle arrows
He shot them both
He held them tight.
The lady turned suddenly
Looking him into the eyes
As if she is seeing him
In a way
She’s never done before
He was taken by surprise
Happily, unbelieving
That the lady of his life
The heart that his adores
Will take away his shyness
And open her heart’s door
Allowing him to whisper
The words he was dying to say
“I love you “
And put the happiest end
