Frenzied Faces~by Karen King

Frenzied Faces

You do not see my frenzied faces.
You only see me for a fleeting moment,
A moment in time,
Captured in the bluebell woods.

You do not see my faces of
Anger, disappointment, fear,
desperation, depression.
You only see the superficial.

You do not see the Mother, The Daughter,
The Carer, the Teacher,
The Housekeeper, The Gardener,
The Poet, The Photographer.

You do not see the juggler,
Of many balls, flying frantically.
You do not see the fool of a clown,
With many frenzied faces.
