The Day I Lost My Smile~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

The Day I Lost My Smile

Hello, it’s been quite a while
Pages gathered in a file
And storms like a mountain pile

It is not really my style
To drink from vessel of bile
The day when I lost my smile

It’s days since I said hello
When my eyes with joy did glow
And rainbow on my cheeks show

Then came the tsunami blow
Buried underground so low
Twas the day I lost my smile

Yet days after my smile end
Your concern to me you send
Asked my lips for upward bend

My heart again to mend
Disposition to attend
Day I lost my smile off fend

Been days since I lost my smile
Get it back will take awhile
Please excuse my lack of guile

Of the day I lost my smile
