I melt not~by Anjali Kullu

Inspired by Nutan Sarawagi and Suganthi Doss, both the power houses who never fail to awe me. In love of them and their beyond words expression of a woman who is so ME. Dedicating my mere poem to all such ladies who are so much more capable of loving and being and especially existing at the same time. Thank you for being a part of my life

I melt not

Sometimes I trembled
left flawed as I was meek.
My heart weeps
merciless
drowning me in my own sea,
vast as it appears
drenches me along:
pulling, thrusting, shattering.
I quiver as I row
wrecked ships,
beating the waves,
fighting against the storm.
I melt not
but remained
firm
an iceberg
deep down
the ocean ground.
Swallowing monster
that gulp
encountered.
Screaming
mermaids
beseech their prince,
rhythm that shrinks my heart.
Deep into
the calm,
gigantic
seabed:
puking
countless pearl
of strange words
that none ever comprehend…!!
