Obliteration

Is it the end times
is that what we see
or is it distorted blows
of humanity.
Have we lost our way
along earth’s journey
holding on to corruption,
greed and the use
of brutality.
No remorse do we bear
evil acts, vile
with ill repair,
taking out the innocent
such acts once rare
now the morning news
abundantly shares.
