Frankenstein’s Monster~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

SLoP Weekly Challenge

Frankenstein’s Monster

I was created by Frankenstein
And he has named me Sir Valentine
Body parts of dead men he made mine
When lightning struck life begun to shine

Not from the womb I was given birth
The only one on this planet earth
Of my ability there’s no dearth
Frightened humans gave me a wide berth

Should I call Frankenstein my father?
Or should I treat him as my master?
He who has created a monster
And thus claimed the Creator’s luster

Yet I wondered if I have a soul
Diamond that did not come from coal
A stallion that never was a foal
Just a scientist’s life-time dream goal

Created with a giant’s huge form
Alone loneliness started to worm
What do I know about society’s norm?
Desire to belong started the storm

God why did you allow me to live?
Must I of Your existence believe?
But to my master’s Faith I must cleave
That’s why from this world I have to leave

Am I truly Frankenstein’s monster?
Why do I feel God’s my True Master?
