Unrequitted Dance~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Unrequitted Dance

I have danced my love for you
Though steps I knew but a few
Only the blue sky could view
As I followed every cue

Bended arms I lifted to you
Soft hands begged for wishes few
Winds blew them for you to view
I asked not more than that’s due

Swayed my body towards you
Bent from waist by angles few
Twirled slowly before your view
Pirouetted til feet are blue

Solemn eyes I lifted to you
Cross my cheeks crept some tears few
My grief that all creatures view
Silent as the morning dew

I’ve danced as a plea to you
Yet you’ve noticed but a few
I’ve tried all to catch your view
To what you’ve claimed not a clue
