Cupid’s Arrow~by Norman Wilson

Cupid’s Arrow

Cupid’s Arrow
Let arrows fly
To pierce starlet skies
Fenced in verse
To risk as love comes by
Hence thy heart
Shall purge thy soul
For each arrow cast
Shot from Cupid’s bow
He thinks to reason
Without a fault
To ransom arrows
Where ramparts join hearts
Storming castles
Bridging walls
In shine of starlet skies
Where Cupid’s arrow falls
He fills thy essence
Feeding from thy own heart
To drown in ecstasy
From Cupid’s eyes in part
He will string thy bow
For one more time
Veering into starlet skies
Where love is blind
