Frustrated Anger~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Frustrated Anger

How does one take evil’s essence
How does a system make sense
How does one reign in the desire to act
In a world where it is easy to twist fact

I helplessly tremble and shudder
My mind is blasting with anger
My belly numbed roughly tightened
Secrets hidden by story’s loose end

My tongue tied to make the right call
My hands tied by system’s protocol
Love and gentleness on drama’s surface
Selfishness and perversity behind mask’s face

How can one protect without proof
A case that can be inferred as spoof
Yet the truth is boiling inside my soul
And the evil is eating me whole

The one who can help is an accomplice
With self love, the monster seeks to please
A legal web where traps are created
Consequences leave justice frustrated

How does one fight with hands tied
How did justice devolved and died
How does one reign in frustrated anger
In a world where evil continues to linger
