Promises (Decemetry)~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Promises (Decemetry)

I promised to give you the moonlight’s glow
Impossible? But I’ll do that for you
I promised you a rose garden to grow
And the whole world beneath your feet to view

I have promised to be true forever
To travel by your side, and be your guide
During storms or droughts, be your life saver
In troubled times, behind me you can hide

But promises to keep, happening slow
Before I can sleep, holding Death’s pillow
