Lost.~by Mandour Saleh Hikel

Lost was she
Between disfigured dreams
Wrecked memories
And blind childhood silver screen
By the dirtiest pitchy scene
That stands so dark and tall
Shamefully titled…
The war.
She turned her back to her life
Absent minded
Indifferent to her
Being unaware
She simply doesn’t care.
While her bare feet hardly following
Her naked dreams
And her fate is following
Her tears stream
Poor she…
Buffeted by
Appeals of groan
Bawling and wailing
And her powerless helping hand…
Nothing she can do
But praying toGod
And appealing death
To give his outreaching hand
Taking her away
From what so called , life
The hell…
She can’t stand.
