A Rhapsody Of Fall~by Hela Tekali

A Rhapsody Of Fall

Come fall…
I am dry and dead…
I am a withered grass…
Your leaves fall…
It’s your autumn call…
You won’t find my tears…
All are withered like ochre leaves…
For the Sun has dried up the wetness
Of my sensual lips…
You won’t be able to read my mind…
I’ve closed the door of my jaded heart…
So you wouldn’t peek on my shrivelled soul..

Instead…
I am a Rhapsody of fall…
You ‘ll see me smiling through the horizon of passion…
Dancing, whirling, in a myriad of my red leaves…
Yellow, brown, ochre with eyes of Love I give…
I’ m battling with my own emotion…
Trying to pour what rests of my dried tear on your ocean…
And you will see me growing…
Through the very rough storm…
For I’ve learned to stand on my own…
As a Rhapsody of fall…
Dancing, swinging, whirling in a myriad of coIors in the ocean of love aloft, forlorn…
