His Own Book
He read from his own book
And saw the world from a different page.
He did not interpret things like others
And was oversensitive to the world.
Too much noise, pollution, aggression
And harsh heaviness on this plane.
He was from the spirit world,
Like we all are, but he knew it.
He was perceptive, he was receptive.
His brain was wired up differently.
He could feel it working,
According to his moods,
According to his activities.
His brain was like a computer,
He could feel it whirring
As the cogs drove the machinery.
It could flow well when well maintained,
Like it had been recently oiled.
Sometimes the cogs would get stuck,
Become rusty or wear away.
This serious fault would case
A complete breakdown.
He wondered when the world
Would wake up.
He read from his own book
And saw the world from a different page.
