My Weaver Bird~by Aarti Mittal

Feeling elavated and honoured on being recognised as one of the goldmedalist in the Theme based Poetry writing in the Nature Poetry For All competetion….I humbly thank Jaleshwer Jeanwallji for honouring me…..
Congratulations to all the winners !!!

Here I present my honoured poem.

My Weaver Bird

Oh ! My weaver bird
You have taught me
A lot to weave

You taught me
To weave my dreams and desires
To keep weave some in the inner wall of my heart
And some weave as reality of walls and wires

Oh the weaver bird
You taught me the ‘ tana-bana ‘ of so called life
Where needles are poked
To daughters , sisters , mothers and wives

Yet to weave the beautiful dwell
Though wounded
Wearing smile as well
You are my greatest tutor of life indeed
The need is
Just a little heed.
