Remembering Emily~by Neil Perry

Remembering Emily

Sometimes I catch the glimmer of your face –
Hurting down the years I can’t replace,

Your love was all to me, so young and true,
But now, your like a dream I can’t pursue,

That down the years will always seem to be
The perfect girl that I will never see,

Because your life was up, to young, to soon,
But even now, I can’t believe your gone,

And just as when the leaves fall from the tree
I will remember all you were to me,

Because, you were the apple of my eye,
And when you went, a part of me did die.
