Reduction~by Paul F. Lenzi

Reduction

magic-dancer

“Magic Dancer” by BB Brown

the dancer slips away

her lissome form become a wisp

the dissipating breath of time

faint music of a memory

caught up by silver fingers of the moon

no longer wanting sun upon her face

unsteady in the ether

unable to arise from fluid yesterdays

the motion of great weights

reducing space to rigid moments

abandoned by their echoes

the dancer slips away
