What is Christmas?

Some say it is the wrong time
Some say it has to be summer time
Some say it was the decided time
Some say who cares about the right time
But no one say Christ was not born a certain time

Some say it is a religious celebration
Some say it is a pagan celebration
Some say it is a commercial celebration
Some say it is a family celebration
But no one say a birth is not for celebration

Some say He is God born so heaven man can afford
Some say He is a prophet born to teach God’s word
Some say He is a madman born with a sword
Some say He was born as wicked man’s sounding board
But no one say He wasn’t born to walk this forsaken world

Many stories of His manger was told
Many ways His life in this world retold
Many ways His birth and death been called
Many took Him either hot or cold
But no one deny the wisdom his teachings hold

Still my question goes to you
What is Christmas for you?
