Daily missive breaks into Christmas Day Sunday the 25th of December.

A time of love
When the joy of life
Is created
In the small things
Gingerbread houses
Water balloons
And elves on shelves
Memories to last a lifetime
Bridging the divide
Between generations
Story telling
And festive surprise
When the old folks
Let their hair down
And nostalgia
Brings a tear to the eye
Santa’s footprints
Lead from the hearth
But where then
Do they go
When so many wait
On the outside
Trying to get in
Spread your love
This Christmas
It will stretch
For ever
Like the freedom
Of your soul
It knows no bounds.
