The lost threads of existence..~by Akshaya Kumar Das

The lost threads of existence..

Preferred silence,
For thirty long years gone in between,
The receding wave of abandonment,
Did not again visit the shore,
Waiting since then like the lamppost,
Someday to feel ashore,
Some day you will come back,
Before lossing the life track,
Relationship travelling
In to the watery grave of silence,
Pronounced silence,
Without any resilience,
Like the centuries old lamp post,
I stand waiting mute,
The salty wave of the sea,
Kissing me then & now ,
The beard on my face hides my existence,
Waiting for a glimpse of your mirror,
Face from the rear view,
But time does not visits back,
Only memories run seaward ,
Coming back with the empty hand,
Hope helplessly surrendering to the deep black waters,
From where no one has ever come back here,
Locked up inside the dungeon of blank space,
Wonder at times whether you will recognize my sad face,
In thirty years of solitude,
I have seen lot of silent attitude,
Sans any hope of rectitude,
Let me die here a happy death,
You can coolly escape from my last breath,
Goodbye to time goodbye to silence,
The best option to leave the left-out existence,
