Shores of Ganga
Heart to heart with a faceless
messenger of primeval love
from the mythological Hindu
lands plowed by sacred waters
of river Ganga.
Souls are wings,
no one is wiser or purer,
fated parting with the body
ensconced in the bosom
of sins suffused with dark precincts
that may meet eternity in silence.
Amorous liaisons
mystically inflamed,
coded expressions of bipolarities
banished in the land of taboos
where fictions meet memoirs,
west meets east,
life meets art
and a man meets a woman.
