A MAN~by Norma Woods

A MAN

I have a man, my heart is glad
happy thoughts are mine.
A someone who accepts my faults
and loves me through all time:
A man in whom I may confide
and tell my joys or cares;
God’s greatest gift, that I may know
I have a man who’s there:

I don’t know when it first began,
just seem to live and grow;
until I found within my heart
A love I tresured so.

Perfection is this wonderous one,
it seem that I’ve been blessed,
companionship that turned to gold,
more precious than the rest.

You are my man, I’m oh, so sure
you needn’t tell me so;
In every thought, in every deed
I watched it dearest, grow.
So much in common do we share,
the good, the fine, the sweet,
I have my man, I need no more
you have made my life complete..
