POEM WENT…POOF!

THE ABSENT-MINDED POET—STILL WINGS IT! –J.E.C.

By the Mighty Mumford

Of distraction here’s proof,

He just saw a poem go POOF!

A really good one

Burned by the sun,

Slid and smashed from his roof!

Can we get three stanzas here,

Don’t know if his noggin will clear…

Silly words

Like little birds,

Just want to jet out of here!

Was hoping that  that idea,

would return and be seen in the clear…

No suck luck

The poet’s stuck,

With all of this, we fear!
