Incomparable Love
I taste that incomparable love
From sweet mysticism to the wine of the divine
I seek so earnestly the path to truth
What does love whisper in my ears to cure and soothe
In thine love “thou ” and “I” become one
Love is the subject of our inmost thoughts
For the self has passed away in the Beloved
He who would search in the secret of both worlds
Will unmask the secret of them both,
As he beholds the mystery of this: incomparable love.
