Blame Game~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Blame Game

Shall I the wind then blame?
For it whispered your name
Mountains that my fire tame
It slipped through without shame

Shall I blame the ocean?
Its key turns heart open
From its depth born a pen
Cause of poem’s creation

Shall I accuse the sun?
Who let passions to run
And lonely hearts to burn
Soft ashes in white urn

Shall I sue the full moon?
Virgin souls sent to swoon
Its silver strands I spoon
To trade for lover’s boon

But I call upon you
To whom the blame is due
You guided me like ewe
To where I have no cue
