Rose poems to follow:

Red Rose

Red Rose, red rose
thy fire burns
destruction flourishes
while people yearn
may our homes be steady
and still in place
may the eyes of God
shine long His grace

Yellow Rose

Yellow Rose, Yellow Rose
Voluptuous and fair
Serving up sunshine everywhere
Dance in the meadow
In the valley and hillside too
Friendship flourishes
Wherever life carries you
Longevity is crucial
The only way to be
May it bind us together
You and me

Written by: Melvina Germain

Blue Rose

Blue rose, blue rose
how doth thou bloom
in ancient fields
I see thee strewn
aged earth
sopping wet with fear
long tears drenched
those buried there
