Inside my Head~by Patrick Kevin O’Shea

Inside my Head

Image may contain: skyscraper and outdoor

Inside my head
I feel the same
But in my age
Years have gained
What the hell
Is going on
The years start
Then they have gone
Time flashes by
As I get old
Quicker now
I’M always told
Long past years
So long ago
But now so short
As they go
My kids are blest
With their little crew
As they are where
I was too.
This circle of life
Goes around and round
Within our heads
It is so profound
But what the hell
I feel the same
But in my age
Years have gained
As they fly past
I treasure so
As they go fast
They come and go
Inside my head
I feel the same
But in my mind
Great memories gained ……..
