HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS…by Carl Gooch

His Righteousness

–

With the joy of salvation our spirits glow

In everything we do and say

Shining on our faces, the world will know

That in Him there is a better way.

–

We form a bond as we go to God in prayer

Even if our words are unspoken

He sees our shattered lives and He is there;

His love of us forever unbroken.

–

He freed us from all our doubts and fears

That we may bring them to Him.

He gives us strength and dries our tears

Giving us a relationship with Him.

–

So on His loving word meditate and know

That He came to set us free.

And that our lives would a reflection show

Of what He has done for you and me.

–

So in our Savior, our loving Lord delight

Put a brilliant smile on our face

For we are covered with His righteous light

Cloaked with mercy and grace.
