A Corpse without a Soul~by Hela Tekali

A Corpse without a Soul

What a dead corpse means without a soul
Cold, lifeless, breathless, frightening with no perfect whole
Soul endows the body with all it needs
The material heart denuded of its presence cracks and bleeds
Once the soul quits the body
Life loses all its beauty
The feelings of joy and pain are no longer there
The magic the soul brings is found nowhere
What a dead corpse means without a soul
Emotion, intuition, senses are lost in vain
Cold ,lifeless, breathless ,frightening with no perfect whole
The body is lying dead missing the Mercy, Pity and Love of its widowed soul.
