Grandmother
I see you standing still –
Before you damaged your hip,
When you would wash us kids –
Befor you lost your grip;
You shine now like the stars –
I see you, but not quite,
And wherever you are now –
I’ll keep you still in sight.
Grandmother
I see you standing still –
Before you damaged your hip,
When you would wash us kids –
Befor you lost your grip;
You shine now like the stars –
I see you, but not quite,
And wherever you are now –
I’ll keep you still in sight.
