when elements flare,~Fury~ by Mary Gosling

when elements flare,

No automatic alt text available.

As nature as docile,
when elements flare,
as water self cleansing,
and the moon bright clair,
I await the tempest,
the waves to pin my legs,
strong gales rush through my body,
amidst the silent begs,
innocence is lost..
to the ways of this world,
I surrender, I must,
I’m open to the word,
and as the break of dawn
dissipates all my fears,
the rising sun and its rays,
kiss away the falling tears.

Fury

When black and grey clouds
Tormented the sky,
Penetrating the blue,
Then thundering by,
The earth has split open
Cried out for release,
As drops hit the womb,
And rain saved the seeds.
