Existence~by Hela Tekali

Existence

I worship my existence
It has allowed me to fly beyond
A suicidal effect to feel I am strong
I am closer to death than to life
In the mid of a long road full of strife
I am thirsty of wilderness and freedom,
of a power of intellect and wisdom
I find myself sometimes misunderstood
For celebrating a spirit full of womanhood
I am more than a second sex
I am the renaissance of a new spirit
I strive to fly beyond my existence
Between life and death there is some distance
I would like to explore my mystifying absence
Defying all the limits of my conceived presence.
