There are holes
In the sky
Pinpoints 
Invisible
To the naked eye
Until backlit
When they become a universe
An inverse
Atomic structure
A multiverse
A redoubled helix
The code of life.
Can all things
Be possible
In full
If it is so willed
At the flick of a switch.
Is it within our gift
To change a view
Vary the intensity
Of our experience
Use a dimmer
As a filter
Watch the glow
Rise and fall
On command.
Are we then gods
To wield such power
As to light
A Planetarium
When we are all
So helpless
In the dark.
Without means
Or access to light
The resources to establish
A complete circuit
A working network
A union
Fit for purpose
We are all equally
Powerless
And pointless.
