HALLOWEEN GRUDGE~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

Image may contain: one or more people, people standing and outdoor

Black clad damsel rises from marsh ,
Tearing the shroud flashing farce ,
Halloween spirit revived wide and far ,
Ghosts on spree freedom sour.
Hair covered face Instills real fear ,
Grudge she carries red angry tears ,
Walking zombies from graveyard near ,
Beware travellers from such sights clear.
Short paths to churchyard is inviting,
Trees and shrubs filled surrounding ,
Lady in shadows beautifully alluring,
Dare not go near her, turns frightening.
Although from distance she is fascinating,
Her tall slim figure truly irresistible,
Ragged footsteps pitifully bewitching,
Forbid her glance, her gaze is impetuous.
Darkness swallowed her soul dry ,
Simply burns for revenge on pyre ,
Betrayed in past with terrible lie ,
Devours any man on Halloween night.
