Trick or Treat!

Kids wear masks to
ward off spirits and more
Jack O Lanterns protect
them as they go to a door
hoping for treats and more

They were greeted by
a googly eyed monster
with big feet
The kids screamed and ran
leaving their treats

The monster went inside
and had a seat
All he wanted to hear
was trick or treat

The monster opened his
window to watch the kids
go door to door
He wished he didn’t have
googly eyes or feet that
spread across the floor

He heard kids singing
trick or treat and the
lonely monster just
sat there looking at
his big feet
