Forever Beautiful~by ‎Fred Tunks‎

Forever Beautiful

Image may contain: one or more people and people sitting

She sits alone in her hotel room forty three stories above ground looking outside the window and feeling empty inside and so let down

She weeps

Tears of saline solitude running down her forlorn face and she remembers all of the promises he had made to her

He has been unfaithful with another woman one who she believed was a friend and she wonders how it is that she could have been so naive

This feeling of unworthiness leaving her to contemplate the reason for living and knowing that she simply has no life without his love and his devotion

She plunges towards the streets below his amulet clasps tightly in her hand and she recalls their wedding vows and how he’d said that she would never be forsaken

But not forgotten by those who truly loved her and who will never really understand what has transpired on this evening of her anniversary and even in the moment of her death

She is now and always has been

Forever Beautiful
