UNWORTHY KNOCKS~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

She waits for a crack on the door ,
Solace is an aspiration no more ,
Love is the smile of golden hours ,
Scarcely spent on fallen flowers.

Time walks in with a grin sometimes,
Reflection of slavery in devotion,
Scaling heights of fake warm passion,
Real danger is the thirsty revelation.

Fictitious dreams shatter famished ,
Dreadful thunder a reminder of surrender, ,
Dressed in wonder unshaken wander,
Uncertain qualms of compelling desires.

Rooted at the door handles of presence,
Angelic affinity of solitary moon essence ,
Tranquility wrapped in nude existence,
Unworthy knocks at midnight resurgence.
