Exiled Dreams
*********************

Image may contain: 1 person, closeup

When refugees’ tents
Of children, women and elderly
Turns to be exiled dreams
Moans and tears
Blooded dreams…
Cuffed with Barbed wires
Folded by dark darkness
Shrouding angelic smile
Childhood smile…
In me…and you
So…
I withdrew in silence…
I’m cutting short my sorrows…
Into dew drops…
Rolling down elderly faces
Bereaved mother
Or …
A cherub
Running away
From his homeland’s grief
A homeland…
That was until recently
A home
That embraces his childhood
Drawing his laughter and tears
In a view..
A view that looks more
Like a way too far …Faraway dream
A dream ..
That minifies his dreams…
Into a piece of bread
Or a sip of water
A dream of his mother’s tenderest hug
That shields him from winter’s cold
A hug
That lies down underneath
Coated in fears…
And cold.
