WALKING ALONG A VILLAGE ROAD ~by Bipul Kalita

WALKING ALONG A VILLAGE ROAD
***********************************************

A village road
led me to a rustic dream
inducing me
to breathe eternal romance
of drawing portraits
of original souls with no marks

Posters of monsters
patched on the big trees
disturbed their normal sights
ruling their naked hearts
with iron hands
with thousand tricks
to tame their true minds

But
their soil cools
eternal heat of the sun
hitting its angry moods
to be normal
easing the struggling hands
to be active with nature’s designs

I enjoyed their whistles
I enjoyed their innocence
I enjoyed their straight thoughts
that unfolded my uncivil civility
that condemned my open secrets
that made me feel very mean and lonely
