YOU CAN TALK TO ME~by Colin Hill

YOU CAN TALK TO ME

Image may contain: one or more people and closeup

She is a beauty of just thirty-five
Who’s heart is scared to flutter
Closed down by this life
She asks herself what’s the sense, in love?
She will talk to me, she can talk to me

She says life has just left her blue
She doesn’t look at me long
Eyes cast down in the room
But I know one thing her words are true
She will talk to me, she can talk to me

Can I say there’s an answer for her
No one understands her
There’s a reason for the pain
In her eyes

This is a gift just for you today
If I can teach anything
We’re in this world to stay
And when you need a cuddle
I’m not far away
You will talk to me, you can talk to me

And when you feel weak or like you’re going to fall
And I know you think you’re worth nothing at all
Still, I will just take your hands
I can make you strong
You don’t see what I see, It’s all good I see

Can I say there’s an answer for you
No one understands you
There’s a reason for the pain
In your eyes

You see… a life it may be torture
But it has just made you stronger
There is a reason for the pain
In your eyes

There is a secret to the pain that’s filled your life
Love is a mystery but it’s something you will find
You will find answers when you open up to see
I am looking for them too here’s what I see

A bird may sing take wing and it flies
I know that look you cannot disguise
Your heart is strong for the pain it hides
I know what I see, it can not hide from me

Your heart is big you may feel small
I’m thinking of you now you just have it all
It’s fate we got it won’t let you fall
You will talk to me, you can talk to me

There’s an answer for you
No one understands you
There’s a reason for the pain
In your eyes
