The Lonely Blind Man~by Patrick Kevin O’Shea

The Lonely Blind Man

No automatic alt text available.

I sit upon this bench , beside alone .
Inside my mind , I’m on my own .

The darkest night , over laps all day . Within my mind , my mindset grey .

This day is dark , and never bright .Within my mind , without my sight .

This world outside , my mind within . I cannot see , through eyes so grim.

As people pass , they walk on by . I often wonder , of them not I .

If I could see , how they see me . This blind man trapped , within not free .

I would stop , to say hello . And not just pass , to where I go .

For deep Insde , I try to hide . This lonly world , where I reside .

As I rest , upon this bench all alone . Inside my mind , still on my own .
