HEART FULL OF LOVE~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

On dark nights I fall badly asleep,
All my dreams shatter as I weep,
When father died I lost my king,
Title of princess in dungeon steep.

I pressed my heart against cold mother,
Dry was the air in suffocation compressed,
Bond of life broken to pieces in waste,
Carry on with my life again depressed.

On nights of loss the sky turns black,
Forgetting the dearly loved is often slack,
Thoughts bawl like clouds, wants them back,
Force of wind stings on battered heart cracks.

One day I take my heart to lovers site,
Smell freedom in vast landscape white,
Marvel at the stars twinkling in the night,
Lonely moon telling tales of ancient times.

I can hear my heart narrate a story of love,
Overwhelmed at thought of so intensely touched,
Of all those memories of marvel and wonder,
Heart was still full of love never broken yonder.
