SPOILS OF OCEAN~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

SPOILS OF OCEAN

No automatic alt text available.

The desolate ocean is crying at its enormity,
Deep abyss churchyard of ships adversity,
In vast bosom hidden many treasures secretly,
Tornadoes and cyclones windy monstrosity.

Populated vessels of fire fall from skies ,
Unfortunate targets of terrorist activities,
Innocent victims of progressive attacks,
Find their water graves of devouring sharks.

Chemicals afloat waging war for oils,
Selfish motives seek dangerous foils,
Flora and fauna floating on pay rolls,
Power greedy nation takes global tolls.

Death is on prowl by illegal immigration,
Drug,human trafficking water corruption,
Dwellers uprooted by violent transportation,
Defamed whales victim of modernisation.

Global pollution affecting pure oceans,
Eccentric weather affect salty sea motions,
Restoration of halcyon seas in turmoil,
Glaciers melting icebergs in ocean boil.

Our oceans converted to litter dustbins,
Detritus abandoned,foul collection we slip,
Crude intentions,accidents in between,
If we stop the despoils it will stay pristine.
