Baby it’s Cold Outside~by Patrick Kevin O’Shea

Baby it’s Cold Outside

Image may contain: one or more people, snow, tree and outdoor

The snow still on show
Baby, it’s cold outside
Wrap up warm my kids
Sixties mother, she cried
Have a good day at school
As the door opened wide
We trudged down our street
With deep snow drifts aside
Within classrooms back then
Coats upon, we sat side by side
The central heating , is caput!
But to school , you must reside
No elf n safety rules back then
For you or anyone else , to abide
Small bottles of milk, to drink
Turned to ice from inside
At break , in the playground
Fourty foot , glide upon a slide
No schools , to stay shut
Everywhere , doors open wide
The snow , still on show
Baby , it’s cold outside
