THE PRIDE OF A WARRIOR
I see him approach,
The mighty man of war;
Who brought relief in our reproach,
And broke down the walls of horror.
At the sound of his step,
Relief comes as a sign of help.
Mouths and voices start to call;
Heads and feet begin to fall.
He broke into snakes’ pit,
Where the dreaded opposition
Carried out their oppression,
And brought light in the night.
Young and tender Colleens call on you,
Arranged in a blissful queue,
And left for you to choose;
To make perfect your morning dew.
