MY DIARY READS
My diary has a record of days gone by,
Every page filled with woes or joys flies,
Some days painful deleting related files,
From fake friends or bitter foes old ties,
Backstabbers increase gossips and lies,
Overcoming each obstacle as I rise.
Making long lasting memories sweet or sour,
Learning to comfort or console in needy hours,
Reflections in silence under shady bowers,
Bitterness healed as time passes by ,
Days of storms or nights of sighs,
My mind like a garden nurtures wise.
Sparkling moments savoured as treasures,
Bubbling champagne celebrate pleasures,
Breathe new life in daunting measures,
Dreams of gold take wings of feathers,
Like waves on shores lashing lathers,
Swathes of sands my footprints gathers.
Faith restored by roots of new seeds,
Inspired by love of family friendly deeds,
Buds of hope fragrant on uprooted weeds,
New doors of light open in festive feeds,
Life is too short for guilt, grudges to keep,
Walking on with a clear heart of needs.
My diary reads of problems solved,
Of invincible spirit in failures evolved,
Of many smiles thwarted,laughter mauled,
Shipwrecked in storms on beach tossed,
Blown by whirlwind on threshold hauled,
Every fall flourished a life to look forward.
