The Iron Butterfly

Were am I?
I cried …
But nobody was there to
answer the question
Barring The Iron Butterfly
“You are in land of Never Never”
Said The Iron Butterfly!
The voice a million bumblebees
Echoing throughout my head
I looked about the ocean was black
And the sky a dark shade of red
Day was night and night was day
The moon was blue and sun was gray
The trees were wilted and the flowers
had died
And I cried …
But nobody was there to witness my tears
Barring The Iron Butterfly
“What happened to all the people?”
Spoke I … Onto The Iron Butterfly
“They’re here but each in a secluded dream
No one really cares for their brother it seems so in this place they never have worry for the other”
“This is the land of Never Never you see”
Spoke The Iron Butterfly … Onto I
And I cried …
But noboby was there to witness my tears
Barring The Iron Butterfly!
