Dying Time~by Paul Lenzi

Dying Time

cem

“Cemetery And Vicarage In Kochel” by Wassily Kandinsky

bury me under the snows
of a quiet cold morning
no need for the green
blades of summer to
cheer my eternity
white blankets
comfort my
everlast
peace

death
occurs in
each season
but wintertime
renders its purity
white with celestial
endowment soft light
unimpeded falls leafless
from heaven’s own fingers

From my books Ephemera and Legacies (vol. 2)

  1. Great style of decreasing and increasing words…do we have a name for it?

  2. Beautiful piece.
